Where do I even begin with this review?
Let's start with me telling you two things about myself and my reading habits.
1) I never read reverse age gaps. Ever.
2) It takes A LOT to get me to cry in a book. I think it's only happened two or three times and this is one of them.
Now that I have that out of the way, I want to tell you a little about this story.
This book follows Denise's journey of incredible loss that will have you bawling more than once. I guarantee it, so keep the tissues close. Trust me!
When her entire world feels like it's ending she finds comfort and support from the most unlikely person you could think of.
Her little brother's best friend Wyatt. But he's the only one she knows that has survived a painful tragedy and he's there for her every step of the way.
Their love story isn't a straight line. There are a lot of obstacles and emotions that they need to sift through before they reach their happily ever after, but if you're willing to shed a few tears I promise it's worth it.
