If you haven't been introduced to indie author Britt Andrews yet, then you are missing out!
She came into the paranormal romance world last year like a hurricane and practically took over with her Emerald Lakes series.
Book 3 just released today, but I had the absolute pleasure of reading an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) and I am even more in love with the characters now than I was at the beginning.
If you're new to the world of Emerald Lakes, here is a roundup for you:
The series follows Saige, a green witch, as she runs her small magic shop in the town of Emerald Lakes and lives with her pet fox (yep a pet freaking fox!) and her crazy ass eccentric Grandma.
Near the beginning of Book 1, she ends up renting the apartment above her shop to four gorgeous mages in town on 'business' and she quickly connects with each and every one of them.
- Cam is a Storm Mage and a mega handsome Daddy ;) (There are spankings involved *hot*).
- Kai is a Shifter Mage who loves to cook and his animal is a black panther.
- Fisher works with mind manipulation and has problems with blocking out others emotions and thoughts which leaves him overwhelmed a lot.
- Sloan is a Fire Mage with a serious attitude problem.
Now...for Book 3!
I am so in love with how well this series is written. Britt brings every emotion to life in her writing so you feel EVERYTHING the characters feel and it's incredible.
The Magic of Revenge follows Saige on her journey of self discovery and learning how to harness her powers that are far greater than she ever imagined. It shows you the importance of the family you choose, not necessarily just the one that you're born into and how those bonds are built so strong that nothing will come between them.
I 100% recommend diving into this series if you:
- Love RH (Reverse Harem)
- Love Paranormal Romance that isn't like every other book out there.
- Love MM (Because oof there is some HOT HOT HOT MM scenes in these books!)
- Love books with suspense.
- Love hot alpha males that would do anything to protect the ones they love.
Emerald Lakes has basically everything I crave in a book/series and is available with Kindle Unlimited!
The fourth and finale book of this series is set to release on June 30!
